Prof. Tara Burns Presents VR Work at MOCO 2026

Prof. Tara Burns presented her VR installation “Gone Fabulous” at the 26th ACM Movement and Computing Conference (MOCO) in Montpelier, France. Her work utilized a live stage component, created by Adele Myers and Dancers, which premiered the same weekend as the VR installation in France. Burns credits key collaborators including Diego Navias (VR world building), Adele Myers and Dancers (inspiration and motion capture), and Aeon De La Cruz (composer). Her work received institutional support from JMU Department of Dance and JMU School of Theatre and Dance.
